Textile Centre of Excellence

The Textile Centre of Excellence is a not-for-profit company owned by its members, primarily textile manufacturing companies throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region. The Centre delivers a wide range of training and development support. Training provided includes apprenticeships and NVQs, Leadership and Management training, Health & Safety, IT and Fork Lift Truck training. The Centre has provided support to over 1,500 companies over the last year. The Centre is also a UK hub for innovation, research and development.


Skillset is the Sector Skills Council for fashion and textiles. "As a Sector Skills Council, we exist to help employers to compete in a global market, by ensuring access to a skilled workforce, capable of delivering added-value products and services."


Textranet is a textile transfer network promoting the exchange of ideas in Technical Textiles throughout Europe.


Crosstex is a Regional and National Research Agency cooperating to make funding fully available for European Textile Research.


Euratex is the European Apparal and Textile Confederation.
